Despite the conversion of some manufacturers to the MIDI-HEKI crank version, customers occasionally experience problems at high speeds. The roof hood lifts unintentionally and generates unpleasant wind noise in the process.
(The supplementary clamping pair is only a useful addition to the roof polishing & sealing package and is not offered separately.)
Here, the installation of the supplementary clamping provides a remedy. Since the lower inner frame must be removed for installation and 1 hole drilled in each of the functional plates for the pad to pass through, this solution is only suitable for skilled motorhome owners!
The mini trim blocks partially use existing holes in the mounting frame for attachment.
